Sara Jester was running a CrossFit gym affiliate in Carlsbad, CA on her own, raising two kids and starting her nutrition coaching company,Barbell Kitchen. One day, minding her own business about town, Sara ran into Sean Lake, Co-Founder of BUBS Naturals.

Sara was already using a collagen company on a daily basis, but Sean was persistent. Eventually, she agreed to meet him for coffee and he sent her a box of BUBS Collagen.

She tossed it into her pantry.

Dust may or may not have settled.

Then one day, Sara ran out of her regular collagen and she remembered, oh yeah, I have that tub of BUBS back there.

And the rest is delicious, delicious history.

Jester loved it. “I was literally like, oh sh*t this is actually really good. It didn’t clump, I couldn’t smell any odor...it was kind of a happy accident,” she told me on a phone call. “I emailed them and was like, okay fine. You’re right. I want to get my clients and members on board.”

But Jester had to get creative. “I didn’t drink coffee at the time, maybe like once a week. But I discovered that I could put it in literally everything else. And now, I literally put that sh*t in everything,” she said.

So she started making up recipes on the fly, like herAlmost 3-Ingredient Protein Pancakes, finding ways to sneak in BUBS Collagen wherever she could. Next thing you know, she’s sharing those recipes on herInstagram, and then there were conversations about exchanging recipes, it was a no brainer for Jester. “I just liked them so much and believed in the product. I would stop by and bring them cookies with collagen in them and it just kind of became this neighborhood relationship,” she said.

So when Sean Lake and TJ Ferrara, co-founders of BUBS Naturals, asked her if she wanted to go all in and make a collagen cookbook, she said, “HELL YES. This is what i’ve been waiting for.”

May we present, “Die Young As Late as Possible, The Cookbook” with thirty collagen packed recipes like sweet potato donuts with chocolate ganache, BUBS cookie dough, BUBS latte, Paleo cookie dough truffles and BUBS Bloody Mary.

We repeat: BUBS Bloody Mary.

“I’m not kidding. I really do put that sh*t in everything,” Jester said.

And now, friends, you too can put that sh*t in everything.
